I received the following information from UT Gardens. If you like Easter egg hunts, this will be a gorgeous location for hunting!

The University of Tennessee Gardens is holding its annual Easter egg hunt “Eggstravaganza” on Saturday, April 3, from 10 a.m to 2 p.m.

Children’s Easter crafts, spring activities and visits with the Easter Bunny will be held on the Gardens’ Friendship Plaza from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Egg hunts will be held in the Gardens and will begin at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Children will be divided into three age groups for each egg hunt. The Eggstravaganza is a family friendly event and intended for children ages 12 and under. Bring your Easter basket and a camera!

The cost for Eggstravaganza is $5 per child ages 12 and under. Due to limited capacity and to ensure that everyone has an opportunity for an enjoyable visit, advanced registration is required. Please reserve your child’s space by calling (865) 974-7151 or write esmith27@utk.edu by the end of the day on Thursday, April 1.

The schedule for the summer Books and Blooms will be coming soon along with summer camps, youth programs and family workshops!

See you in the Garden!
